Cherry Cheesecake Egg Roll Ingredients

A complete list of ingredients and amounts can be found in the recipe card below.

Egg roll wrapper: These provide the perfect crispy exterior for your cheesecake filling.
Premade no-bake cheesecake filling: This filling is just so convenient. It is sweet, tangy, and great with cherry pie filling.
Cherry pie filling: Part of the filling for the egg roll wrappers.
Cinnamon: Mix with sugar for a classic cinnamon-sugar coating.
Graham cracker crumbs: For that authentic cheesecake flavor, sprinkle graham cracker crumbs inside the egg roll before rolling it up. This adds a familiar crunch and taste of traditional cheesecake crust.
Melted butter: Brush the egg roll wraps with melted butter before frying for a rich, golden finish. This helps create a beautiful, flaky crust.
Oil: For frying. Choose a high smoke point oil like vegetable or canola oil for a crispy, golden-brown exterior.

Ingredients for cherry cheesecake egg rolls laid out on a table: a bowl of sugar, a bowl of cherries, a small bowl of crushed cookies, a bowl of ice cream, a small plate of butter, uncooked sheets, and a small pitcher of liquid.

Substitutions and Variations

Other flavors: Add a dash of lemon zest to the cheesecake filling for a tangy kick. Mix a tablespoon of cocoa powder into the cheesecake filling for a chocolatey version or add a splash of vanilla extract if you like that flavor.
Yummy toppings: Drizzle with melted chocolate or caramel sauce. Top with a dollop of whipped cream and a cherry – so cute!
Crunchy bits: For added crunch, sprinkle chopped nuts like pecans or almonds inside the egg roll. Mix shredded coconut with the cheesecake filling or a few chocolate chips.
Cream cheese filling: Use homemade cheesecake filling made with cream cheese mixture, the traditional way, instead of pre-made.
Cherry pie filling: For different flavors, swap with other fruits variants like blueberry pie filling, strawberry or apple. Strawberry cheesecake egg rolls are so good. You can also use fresh fruit mixed with sugar and cornstarch.
Graham cracker crumbs: Use crushed digestive biscuits or vanilla wafers for a similar crunch and flavor. Substitute with crushed pretzels.
