Recently I went on a little adventure to the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia with Ford Canada. We ended up with beautiful autumn weather, stayed at an incredible resort and ate way too much good food. All the ingredients for a good time!
Sunshine Coast Adventure with Ford
We started our Sunshine Coast adventure trip in Vancouver and drove in Ford vehicles to take the ferry to the Sunshine Coast. After the short ferry ride we drove to this cute little lunch spot called Smitty’s Oyster House in Gibsons, BC. We had fresh oysters, fresh halibut and clam chowder. It was all so good!
The next stop on the itinerary was in Roberts Creek for some yoga on the pier. It was really nice stretching after a drive. After yoga we made our way to the Painted Boat Resort. The Painted Boat is a lovely resort right on the water and the suites were huge.
Ford brought their new line up of SUV’S for us all to try out during the getaway. For most of the trip I has a Ford Escape to use and which happens to be my favourite Ford vehicle. Its the perfect size for me and it has so many great features like a front and rear camera and park assist.
Most of the new models have Apple Play, which for me is super handy because you can answer texts and play music all just by talking to your steering wheel. Another reason I love the Ford Escape is because its a bit smaller than all the other models but still has a lot of storage and trunk space, which is perfect for me because I tend to always have stuff in my car. Lastly, how could I forget about the heated seats! They are perfect for cold and damp days.
I am actually really excited for their new Ford Eco-Sport. Its smaller than the Ford Escape but is still an SUV they call it the compact SUV ( fun. capable. connected ). This little SUV has a lot to offer. It has heated and cooled seats, built in WiFi, a sun roof and so much more. I can’t wait to test drive it when it is available.
While we were there we had a photography lesson, and then we had some dinner. Once again the meal was amazing! There was so much seafood and meats with everything tasting so good. We ended the night with a campfire and made s’mores. So far this Sunshine Coast adventure is just what I needed for a little break.
The next day we ate breakfast and made our way back to the ferry to Vancouver.
A huge thanks to Ford Canada for the awesome little Sunshine Coast adventure.

Wow. So much fun, the car looks great!
Nice post. The purpose of our life is to know the unknown and to see the unseen. That’s why people love to travel and find out the natural treasure. So treasure hunt is very popular game nowadays where people can take part by their own.
What a fun little trip! I have a Ford Focus – much smaller than an SUV, of course! – and just love it. It is a few years old now but still runs great!
