On my last trip to LA, I stayed at the Carlyle Inn, which is a super adorable boutique hotel just minutes from Beverly Hills. The Carlyle Inn, Los Angeles is in a great central location, was comfortable and everywhere I turned there was another photo opportunity waiting to happen.
The Carlyle Inn is definitely a one of a kind hotel. The distinctive black and white stripes make it a hotel that you will never forget. Being a person that is drawn to pattern and colour, I knew that this was a hotel that I wanted to stay at during my visit.
Guest Rooms
The guest rooms are decorated in a striking white, green and black colour combination. Be still my heart! 🙂
All of the details, like the headboards and adorable pillows made me feel comfortable and cozy during my stay.
The room have adorable old-fashioned phones which make you just want to call the front desk so you can use it. They are just so terribly cute!
Courtyard
The courtyard at the Carlyle Inn is black and white striped with black and white umbrellas, and graphic tiles. All of the black and white is contrasted with orange and green accents. It is certainly a visually pleasing space for the colour lover! You can’t help but smile when you see this space for the first time. 🙂
The guest rooms open out to the courtyard, making it easy to see this space from a birds-eye view.
Lobby & Breakfast Room
Included with your stay at the Carlyle Inn is a complementary breakfast which includes a delicious mix of cold and warm food. You can make your own delicious waffles…which is a great way to start off the day.
The lobby of the hotel carries on the green and black colour scheme. There are dramatic sitting chairs and a cozy couch for lounging or meeting with friends.
A super special shout-out to Jenny Megenney for these photos at the Carlyle Inn! I can’t wait to take more soon!
Daybeds
The courtyard has daybeds which are perfect for those looking to get some sunshine during their visit to LA. I was there in November, but the weather was definitely summer-like for this Canadian girl! I took every opportunity that I could find to sit out and enjoy the good weather.
The hotel also had a hot tub for those looking to relax a bit.
Patio Tables
The courtyard is full of patio tables and chairs making it a great location to lounge with friends and family or get a bit of work done. Sitting under the adorable patio umbrellas is a must!
While at the Carlyle Inn, I was able to take in many of the sights that LA has to offer. This central location in Beverly Hills was just ideal.
Happy Friday, friends! I made it back from Oregon and now I have a lot of work to catch up on my work and get content ready for next week. Have a wonderful weekend!
