With the heat starting to really turn up, I think it is time to share one of my most beloved drinks! This sparkling strawberry lemonade is perfect for those hot summer days. This refreshing summer drink is as easy to make as regular lemonade, but just a little extra. . . and there is nothing wrong with extra! If you are looking for a super easy drink recipe that is a little sweet and a little tart, plus delicious fruit flavour – this is it!
This summer drink is wonderfully sweet and tangy at the same time. It is refreshing and perfectly bubbly. You will love this sparkling strawberry lemonade recipe.

I really love lemonade and drink it often to keep hydrated. And isn’t just the most perfect drink on a hot summer day? I prefer mine while I’m getting some sun by the pool, but that’s just me.
Sparkling Lemonade Ingredients
I know, you don’t really need to mess with lemonade because it is the perfect beverage for hot summer days. This sparkling lemonade is a little special because it is made with sparking water and fresh berries in addition to sugar and lemon juice. Top it off with a garnish of fresh lemon slices or a lemon wedge and that is it!
I don’t sweeten this homemade strawberry lemonade too much but sometimes it is a special treat to dress up the lemonade with some fresh fruit, like farm fresh strawberries or strawberry slices. An unsweetened version is perfect for healthy breakfasts at home.
This is one of my favourite summer drinks or you might want to serve it at a BBQ, a special occasion like baby showers, a bridal shower or add it to the menu planning with your other favourite brunch recipes. There are so many reasons to serve this tasty non-alcoholic drink or mocktail. The pink hue and strawberry flavour makes this drink the perfect way to celebrate something special.
Actually, who needs a special occasion to drink this homemade strawberry lemonade – it is the perfect warm weather drink and for sipping poolside. It is a fun recipe to try with the kids and family during an impromptu staycation.
The beautiful flower garnish used in these photos are Spanish Needle wildflowers.
How to Make this Bubbly Strawberry Lemonade
For this drink, I made strawberry lemonade as usual, but used sparkling water (or Sodastream carbonated water or club soda) instead of normal tap water. You can dress with up with a berry or lemon garnish to be fancy. Then suddenly, I you have the most amazingly fresh lemonade you ever had.
Instead of the sugar you can try substituting a simple syrup as the sweetener.
If you are looking to spice it up a little, an “adult” version of this drink would be great with a shot or two of vodka in it or even used as a punch with a ton of fresh fruit in it for a summer gathering. You can even add in some sparkling champagne instead of the sparkling water. How are you going to make this drink your own?

Incredibly tasty, just the right amount of sweet and sparkling. I doubled the recipe but will make an even bigger batch next time.
Every sip is unbelievably refreshing and soothing. I make this at least twice a week! It’s irresistible.
