There are just a few simple ingredients needed to make these homemade candy heart treats. You will need white chocolate or baking wafers, Valentine candy and Valentine sprinkles. If you are using real chocolate, semi sweet chocolate chips or milk chocolate chunks work great for homemade chocolate. If you want to use dark chocolate to make dark chocolate hearts – that will work, too!
How to Make Heart Shaped Chocolate Treats
You need a heart-shaped silicone mold to make these however, the silicone candy mold can be plain hearts or have words. For the ingredients, buy the best quality white chocolate or coloured baking wafers (candy melts or chocolate bark) that you can find. You can purchase baking wafers from the craft store, online or at a baking supply store. You can also sometimes find at the grocery store.
Once you have the chocolate and the heart mold, you one step away from creating these magical treats. Melt chocolate and/or wafers carefully in the microwave in a microwave safe bowl or a double boiler. Add some of your favourite Valentine’s sprinkles or candy into your shape before placing the melted chocolate into the mold! You can use a piping bag or a plastic baggie with the corner cut off to add the chocolate to the mold with less mess.
Wipe away the excess chocolate to clean up the mold. Chill chocolate hearts to set. That is all it takes to make homemade Valentine’s Day candy.
I used pink, white, and blush sprinkles, but feel free to use whatever you like, anything will work and everyone will love these tasty white chocolate hearts!

Ingredients
- 3 Cups white chocolate chips chunks or wafers (good quality)
- 3 Cups melting wafers pink
- 1/4 Cup sprinkles heart shaped
- 1/2 Cup candy M&Ms
- 1/2 Cup jelly beans heart shaped, optional or other candy
- 1/4 Cup cinnamon candy hearts
Instructions
- Place toppings (candy, sprinkles) in the bottom of a heart shaped silicone heart mold.
- Melt chocolate and/or wafers carefully in the microwave or a double boiler.
- Slowly pour the white chocolate into the molds over the toppings.
- Repeat with the pink wafers.
- Refrigerate and when set, remove from molds.
