No matter if it’s your first date or you’ve been married for 5 years, there is so much to do, especially now with Fall being pretty much the favourite child of all the seasons! From sweaters to flannels and from Halloween to Thanksgiving, Fall has a little something for everyone. I am sharing some fun Autumn date ideas and Fall couple activities that you need to try. While everyone’s mind usually goes straight to evenings, the best romantic fall date ideas cover all hours of the day. Although we certainly don’t need anything expensive to have a great time together, we do need a little bit of effort. Don’t get me wrong. Expensive restaurants and fine wine every now and then are a perfectly good idea. However, between you and me, most of the time it’s not realistic to expect pricey date nights multiple times a week. Personally, I would pick the top fun fall date ideas every time. They are free, memorable, and, most importantly, romantic. That’s why outdoor date ideas for fall are at the top of every nature-loving couple out there.

Find one near you (or far if you want to make a road trip out of it!) and get ready for some fun! You can even have a goal of going to a different one each weekend, if you’re in an area that throws a couple of them. They usually offer some sort of pumpkin patch, a corn maze and, not to mention, very adorable photo ops for you and bae!

If they have a local orchard, make sure you pick some apples. Nothing is better than crisp apples fresh from the tree. If you take some photos, you will need these apple Instagram captions as well! There has never been a time where I have gone through a haunted house without some kind of funny story afterwards. One of you is bound to scream like a little girl or accidentally trip over a cast member. It’ll be terrifying at the moment, but a hilarious story later for sure!

Seriously, whether you’re looking to spice things up in your relationship or trying to have a memorable time with some great fall first date ideas, there is no better way to spend a boo-tiful night with your bae.

Go for a Scenic Drive

Now that the leaves are changing colours but have yet to fall, take a drive around a scenic area to take in all the beauty Fall has to offer. While you’re driving, put on a playlist with sweet songs that mean something to both of you. Take your time driving and take it all in. Pictures are great, but don’t forget to enjoy the moment just sitting there together with the one you love. Even though I consider it as one of the best autumn date ideas, this is a fun way to spend a day with your love no matter the season.

Plus, there is so much more you can do to turn this ordinary road trip into a magical one. Visit your local farmers market to pick up some delicious goodies, stock up on pumpkin pie, find a perfect place to stop and you can have a fantastic picnic right there!

To enhance the fun and to look back on it one day, set up a camera to record your shenanigans to really feel like you’re on the Food Network preparing dishes for the masses! It also will be so sweet to look back on later to see how silly and fun it was to make a mess but also something so good! After all, when we think of the best date idea ever, it usually involves good food, right?

Scary Movie Marathon/Theaters

Now on the best home date night ideas. Yes, it’s a classic, but everyone loves it for a reason! Whether it be the new IT movie or throwing together your own classic mashup at home, snuggle close and get cozied up with babe for a frightful fall date night! For some reason, there is something so romantic about being scared out of your mind while having your love comforting you. But only do this if you both love scary movies. If they aren’t either of your thing, snuggling up together on the couch watching rom-coms is just as romantic and probably what I am going to do.

Nothing is quite as romantic as the two of you, elbows deep in pumpkin guts! Grab a few pumpkins at your local farmers market or pumpkin patch and get your carving on! You can even have a super cute little competition between the two of you. You both pick something you want to carve and whoever does it the best wins bragging rights! Woo!

Now, I know! A ton of great pumpkin carving ideas are floating around in their brain. So why settle for the basics? There are so many creative tutorials on Pinterest to try on this perfect fall date.
