Each step in this Starbucks iced white chocolate mocha recipe is simple. So if you’re a coffee fan who also loves the rich taste of white chocolate as well as the unmistakable flavour of vanilla, this is the perfect recipe for you to try out.
How to Make the Sauce
First you will want to prepare the sauce. For this you need sweetened condensed milk, sugar, milk, vanilla, salt, and chocolate chips. Let the sweetened condensed milk, sugar, milk, and salt melt together in a small pan.
When the sugar dissolves, you can mix in your white chocolate chips. Keep stirring. You can’t over-stir! Now transfer the mixture into a squeeze bottle. This makes it easier to ensure you add the right amount to your drink.
Double or triple the sauce recipe and you’ll have enough not only for this DIY white chocolate mocha iced coffee but for more coffees too. It thickens up somewhat but will dissolve when added to hot coffee.

Once you’ve added the sauce to a cup, you can add espresso followed by milk and then ice. Finish your copycat iced white chocolate mocha off with some whipped cream along with white chocolate chips.o

I prefer using this squeeze bottle (same size in a 3-pack on Amazon). Since it has measurements directly on its side it makes it super simple to pour the correct amount of sauce into your cup. Enjoy with a compostable straw.
What Kind of Milk to Use in Homemade Iced Mocha
Whole milk always works nicely in recipes such as this iced white chocolate mocha Starbucks drink. But that isn’t your only choice. Consider 2% or skim if you want to sub a reduced fat alternative. Oat, almond, coconut, or cashew milk would also be fine here.
Do remember some of the ingredients in this DIY white chocolate mocha iced coffee recipe contain dairy – namely the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk.
You can make this recipe dairy-free but you will need to sub the chocolate chips for a vegan variety and the sweetened condensed milk for ‘Carnation Vegan Condensed Milk Alternative’. Now the flavour isn’t going to be exactly the same but you can vegan-ify pretty much coffee recipe and enjoy those Starbucks flavour without the dairy.
