Add the ham steaks to the prepared baking sheet: Push the potatoes over and overlap the ham steaks on the sheet pan, before brushing the honey mustard sauce on top.
Add the green beans, and continue to cook: Gently toss the green beans with olive oil, salt and pepper, and add those to the sheet pan next to the ham steaks. Cook until tender and serve immediately while still hot.

Substitutions and Variations

Green beans: Swap the green beans for another vegetable if you prefer.
Seasonings: You might also like to add a pinch of onion powder or fresh minced garlic in place of the garlic powder to the sauce you brush on to the ham.

Fresh herbs: Fresh thyme would work in place of the rosemary, or even a pinch each of dried thyme and dried rosemary.
Baby potatoes: You might want to try sweet potatoes instead of, or as well as, the baby potatoes.

One Pan Easter Dinner FAQs

What vegetables can I use if I don’t like green beans?

Try broccoli, zucchini, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, peeled carrots, or a combination of veggies.

Can I make this if I don’t have sheet pans?

You can use a baking sheet or roasting tin instead of a sheet pan. Anything with a rim will work, but you do need some kind of rim to stop the juices from dripping over the edges of the pan.

This is a brilliant recipe for making on those busy weeknights and I have a lot of those. I made this once as it is and the second time using sweet potatoes instead of the baby ones, and both ways are really good.
