Egg: Binds the cookie dough and gives structure.
Flour: The base of the cookie dough for structure.
Baking powder: Helps the cookies puff slightly.

Let cookies cool fully: This keeps the dip from melting when served together.
Mickey Mouse Sugar Cookie FAQs
You could use jimmies which are rod-shaped sprinkles. They’re known as rainbow sprinkles. These are good because the color doesn’t “bleed” as much in baked goods. Quins are wide and flat. Don’t use those in baking because they melt and spread too much. Dragees or sugar pearls are jumbo sized round sprinkles which are best for garnishing cupcakes and the like. Coarse sugar and sanding sugar are more options, but I recommend regular colorful sprinkles.
Yes, wrap it tightly and freeze for up to 2 months.
No, any cookie cutters will work just fine.

Recipe is incomplete – none of the directions mention when to add the sprinkles, the dip ingredients list doesn’t mention the need for sprinkles. The blog post doesn’t either.
