A wonderful combination of fruity flavours and ginger ale come together to make this Halloween eyeball punch. The eyeballs are made with longan fruits and blueberries, and then you can have fun adding plastic spiders and so on for the ultimate happy Halloween treat!
Why You’ll Love Halloween Eyeball Punch
Simple to make: Halloween is typically a time when we make a selection of different recipes, such as appetizers, snacks, drinks, and so on, so you won’t want to spend too much prep time on any item if possible. The simplicity of this Halloween punch means you can make it quickly and easily.
Delicious: Fruity drinks are always popular at parties and the same is true of Halloween. It’s a fruit-based cocktail with a combination of Western and Eastern fruits, along with ginger ale.
Customizable: You can make this punch non-alcoholic or jazz it up with your favourite alcoholic add-in for adult parties, as you prefer. Vodka or tequila would work, as would white rum.
Eyeball Punch Ingredients
Blackberries and blackberry preserves, cherry juice, grape juice, cranberry cocktail, longan fruit and juice, ginger ale, and blueberries combine with ice cubes to make the sweet punch. Optional garnishes include plastic spiders or gummy worms, black frosting, and raspberries.

Combine the fruity ingredients: Mash the blackberries a bit in a pitcher, then add the preserves, fruit juices and ginger ale, and stir.
Make the eyeballs: Put a frozen blueberry inside each longan fruit and add.
Garnish and serve: Add any optional garnishes such as gummy bats or worms, and serve cold.
Substitutions and Variations
Mix and match the fruit juices if you like. Apple juice, pineapple juice, orange juice, and cranberry juice are just some options, but use your favourites. Bear in mind some have added sugar which might make the drink too sweet for some palates.
Add a splash of alcohol if you like, or swap the ginger ale for your favourite soda, or add a few drops of red food colouring for a bolder punch colour.
What to Serve with Halloween Eyeball Cocktail
Halloween appetizers are the order of the day when preparing fun food for a Halloween party and you probably have your own ideas about what to make, of course. Anything from mummy stromboli to black charcoal pizza would be ideal for this occasion.
How to Store this Halloween Party Favourite
Store: Keep the cocktail refrigerated if you make it in advance and don’t add the ice until it’s time to serve.
Freeze: This will freeze but it won’t have the same fizz (from the ginger ale) when thawed, so it’s best enjoyed fresh.
Spooky Eyeball Punch FAQs
Longan and lychee fruit are similar, in that they’re both small, white, sweet, and native to Asia. This recipe can be made with either longan or lychees, although they do look and taste slightly different.
Since it’s punch, a punch bowl would be the traditional choice but you can use a pitcher if you prefer. Either add ice cubes to the punch or put ice in serving glasses and then pour or ladle the Halloween eyeball punch over it.

OK so I made these but I couldn’t find longan anywhere so I used lychees instead and they came out perfect. My new favorite Halloween drink!
