Lime Curd FAQs

Can I use bottled lime juice instead of fresh?

Fresh key lime juice is best for flavor, but bottled key lime juice or regular lime juice can be used in a pinch.

Why is my curd too thin?

It may not have cooked long enough or reached the right temperature. Keep whisking until it thickens.

Can I double the recipe?

Yes, but be sure to whisk constantly and watch the heat closely to avoid curdling.
