Vanilla instant pudding and milk are the basis of these key lime pie rum cream jello pudding shots and make them rich and creamy. You need some kind of lime rum cream drink such as Blue Chair Bay or KēKē Cream Liqueur for these pudding shots with rum.
Key lime juice and zest also go into these key lime shots. Then you will need graham cracker crumbs, whipped cream and lime slices for a garnish. Use either graham cracker crumbs or else crush your own crackers.

Key Lime Pie Rum Cream Jello Pudding Shots
Ingredients
- 1 Box vanilla pudding, 3.4 Ounce, such as Jell-O Vanilla Instant Pudding and Pie Filling
- 1 Cup milk, cold, whole
- ½ Cup liqueur, PLUS 2 Tbsp., key lime pie rum cream, chilled, such as Blue Chair Bay Key Lime Rum Cream or KēKē Key Lime Pie Cream Liqueur
- 2 Tablespoons lime juice, key lime, such as Nellie and Joe’s Famous Key West Lime Juice
- 1 Tablespoon lime zest, divided
- 3 graham crackers, whole, then crushed
- whipped cream, for garnish
- 10 Slices lime, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together pudding mix and cold milk for about one minute, or until slightly thickened. Add rum cream, and whisk until no lumps remain. Stir in lime juice and 2 teaspoons lime zest and whisk until fully incorporated/thickened. Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Spoon 2 teaspoons of crushed graham crackers into each 2-ounce shot glass. Add about 2½ tablespoons of pudding mixture over crumbs into each cup. Top with whipped cream, remaining lime zest, and lime slices, if desired.
