How to Store Frozen Mint Lemonade

Store: If you have leftovers or make the drink ahead, keep it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. It’s best not to blend in the ice until you’re ready to serve it though. Also, if you use sparkling water instead of still, it will go flat within hours.
Freeze: You can freeze it if you want to make extra. Or freeze it in popsicle molds for a completely frozen treat!

Top Tips

Use fresh lemon juice: Bottled juice won’t have the same brightness.
Chill your ingredients: Cold water and lemon juice help the slush form faster.
Adjust to taste: Add more mint or sugar depending on your preferences.

Refreshing Mint Lemonade FAQs

What’s the history of limonana?

Limonana rose to fame in Israel thanks to a clever ad campaign that promoted a mint lemonade drink. Before it even existed! The buzz was so strong that companies began making the real thing. Soon, cafes and bars offered their own versions, from slushy to spiked. Ever since, this refreshing frozen mint lemonade has been a summer favorite.

Can I make this without a high-powered blender?

Yes, but the ice may not crush as finely. Use smaller ice cubes or crushed ice if needed.
