Pumpkin Whipped Coffee Ingredients
A complete list of ingredients and amounts can be found in the recipe card below.
Instant coffee: Whips into the signature frothy dalgona topping.
Cane sugar or coconut sugar: Sweetens and stabilizes the whipped coffee.
Boiling water: Activates the coffee and helps create foam.
Pumpkin purée: Adds a creamy texture and natural fall flavor. Make sure you have 100% pumpkin purée, not pumpkin pie filling which is already sweetened and spiced.

Substitutions and Variations
Use decaf: Instant decaf coffee works just as well for a caffeine-free option.

Serving Suggestions
With a sweet treat: Pair with banana pumpkin muffins, strawberry oatmeal bars, chocolate chip shortbread cookies, or puffed wheat squares for a perfect autumn coffee break.
For breakfast or brunch: Enjoy a chocolate cherry breakfast bowl or breakfast sliders with your whipped dalgona coffee.
How to Store Dalgona Coffee
Store: It’s best to make your dalgona coffee fresh, otherwise the foam will break down and the drink ingredients will separate.
Freeze: I haven’t tried freezing dalgona coffee but it might make an interesting popsicle!
Top Tips
Use hot water: Make sure it’s just boiled to activate the foam.
Don’t overwhip the pumpkin: Mix gently so it stays fluffy.
Don’t omit the sugar: The sugar isn’t just for sweetness. It helps with the consistency. If you don’t use sugar, the drink will take longer to whip and will collapse quicker.
Double the recipe: If using a stand mixer, more volume helps it whip properly.
