How to Store Jam Seltzer Drinks
Store: This drink is best served as soon as it’s made, although leftovers will keep for a day or so in the refrigerator.
Freeze: I don’t recommend freezing it.
Top Tips
Stir well before topping: This helps the jam blend smoothly.
Use chilled seltzer: It keeps the drink cold and carbonated.
Garnish intentionally: A sprig of mint or slice of fruit adds polish.
Serve immediately: This drink is best served fresh, so don’t let it sit otherwise the ingredients will separate.
Blueberry Jam Seltzer FAQs
This isn’t really a good drink to make ahead because it will just separate and the longer you let it sit the harder it will be to get everything combined back together again afterwards. Since it’s so quick to make though, you can easily make it as needed.
Seltzer water is basically water with carbon dioxide in it. Club soda is the same but has other minerals in there such as potassium bicarbonate. Sparkling water is also similar but it’s made with spring water which has minerals naturally occurring in it. You can use literally any of those options to make this recipe.
Use whatever type of glass you want. I recommend using one that holds at least 8 ounces so you can fit plenty of ice into your drink.
You can if you prefer a smoother texture, but it’s not necessary.
